Compliant Gas Systems are Important.
We will check your entire existing gas supply system to ensure it is 100% compliant to Australian Standards before we commence any gas work.
Once we ensure your gas system is compliant we can undertake any gas work required.
If it is not compliant, we will let you know what needs to be done in order to rectify this. Non compliant gas systems need to be rectified to ensure safety.
After we have done any work on your gas, we will issue you a gas compliance certificate.
What is a Gas Compliance Certificate?
A gas compliance certificate confirms that your gas system is Compliant to Australian Standards and that work has been undertaken by a licensed gas fitter.
This document must be completed by a licensed gas fitter when either all or part of a gas installation has been completed.
Along with a compliance certificate, a gas compliance plate will be attached to either the gas installation or inside the electric/gas meter box with the relevant details displayed.
It is illegal for a gas fitter not to provide a gas compliance certificate if they have undertaken any work on either a new or existing gas system.
